Brain, bum and eight-ball helmets to turn heads on highways?

Motorists get ready because crazy novelty themed helmets could be about to make their mark on roads in the UK.

Just about everyone on two wheels has been catered for - especially if you're a bit of a brainiac.

If a 'subtle' distraction is more your thing then why not purchase the well-rounded bum helmet, which is sure to allow you a clean path to and from work.

Other designs, including a walnut, watermelon and golf ball, have been patented by Kazakhstan company called GOOD Creative, Marketing & PR.

The creators are on the look out for investors to get the helmets to the market - cue Dragons' Den maybe?

Head designer Renat Abdrakhmanov said what started as an experiment with computer software has now blown up into a full scale business opportunity.

'The project with helmets was initiated as a creative experiment, we tried to do something different than ordinary advertising, just for fun, for ourselves and for potential clients,' he said.

'There are no real helmets yet, just the design. But once it became clear that hundreds of thousands people showed interest in the product we started thinking about production.

'We have so far got proposals requesting rights for production in US and Japan.'
